I am an artist and photographer located in Virginia Beach, VA.  I have a degree in Fine Arts as well as Media Advertising and Design. When not painting or shooting, I love to spend time with my family. I am a devoted husband, married for over 18 years, and father of three beautiful children.

My interest in painting started very early. I used to paint on canvas, but one day I saw Bodypainting at a festival and I thought, "Hey, I could do that!". I did my research, practiced bodypainting on my wife, and I completed my first official full painted body in 2000. In 2004, I started painting on the bellies of pregnant women. It seems to be a growing trend and people just think it's "so cute!".

By combining my bodypainting skills with photography, I can create beautiful and unique portaits of women. Since that time, I have painted over 250 people for advertising, events, and artistic portraits.

I obtained my own photo studio in 2005. Photographing people in a controlled setting is very fun for me. Setting up lighting and props, to posing the subjects and capturing great expressions, it all presents an exciting challenge. I really enjoy it all and my customers seem to as well.

The past 3 years have been especialy exciting. I have been instructing at FABAIC (Face and Body Art International Convention) held in Orlando, FL. where I can share my talents and experiences with other face and body painters. I have been more involved with charities and special events where I have met so many wonderful people. And I joined this internet community called FACEBOOK, where I can read a whole lot of random posts from my 318 closest friends.

Jeff is totally normal.  He's really cool - That was Nick's first concern.  How creepy is some dude that paints half naked chicks?  I think he was just jealous :)  Jeff does this part-time and has his own studio - away from his basement - and he's a great guy.  He's married and has three kids - lots of fun to work with.  You HAVE to check out his website. If you know anyone who's interested - call him!  He doesn't just do belly painting for preggers - he does full on body painting! It's really classy and fun, but you have to be willing to get naked.  I realized tonight, it wasn't as easy as I thought it might be.  Taking my top off in front of someone other than my husband was W...E...I...R...D ! ! !  But Jeff made me feel completely comfortable.  For goodness sakes, I let him "adjust" the sheer sheet thing on my naked booty.  He was absolutely professional.

When I think about belly paintings, "classy and elegant" aren't the first things that come to my mind, but your photography captured those mother's pregnancies in a way that I've never seen before.  They were having FUN and everyone who looks at those pictures can tell.  The pictures are something that could be left on the coffee table for everyone to see without getting embarrassed or feeling awkward, even though their big, fat bellies were hanging out. You captured those moms in a way that they can't help but look back and embrace as a time in their life when they really understood their beauty.

I am so pleased with the photos. You especially made me and my husband feel comfortable doing pictures I never thought I could do. I now have these amazing pictures to document my first pregnancy and I feel I would have regretted not going through with it. I just wanted to say thank you for being so knowledgable and professional  for my photoshoot.  I appreciate the attention and detail you paid to my photos even though I am just starting out and didn't know a lot about the process.  I recieved the CD of the images 2 weeks ago, much faster than what I anticpated and they looked awesome!  I don't think they could have been any better.  In the future when I need professional, commercial pictures, you are the only person I will feel comfortable doing business with, becuase I know that they are going to get done right!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! I have always wanted to do the intimate type of pictures but never had the nerve. Honestly, I was very nervous about being naked in front of another man, let alone have him take pictures of my nude body in various erotic poses. I am not 21 years old anymore and sure do not have the body of one. As soon as we walked into your studio you made it very comfortable and relaxed for me and made it very easy to allow all my inhibitions and anxiety about my body perception to fade! You are wonderful at what you do and I will absolutely tell anyone that will listen about you. My husband is already talking about going back to you and doing some "Christmas themed" pictures.
